In these Austere times it would be helpful for mature and successful businesses to give as much advice to other businesses, irrespective of the latter’s age and profit ratios. Well here’s a thought on hints for media companies trying to save money (and who isn’t in these times of DIRE [financial] STRAITS !!!??).
Instead of expending money on program research – including costs of journalists, field specialists and consultants, just hire a few out-of-work actors that have the vocal and dialectical inflexions to lend weight to the subject matter; give each one a script that contains MULTI streams of symbolism, innuendo and subtext, e.g. depraved activities occurring at zenith loci or hilltops, address the actor with a Spiritually significant name and BINGO! Bob’s your uncle as you’ve saved all but immediate i.e. studio production costs and basic minimum wage payments to all actors.
A DOUBLE bonus is gained from knowledge that you’ve given a bit of work to otherwise unemployed jobbing actors and a CUBED benefit is accrued in the presentation of a show that sounds pertinent, truthful and real.
Oh, I’m not too late am I ??
